Combining sporting activities with a seminar can be a great way to loosen up learning, boost team spirit and create an active and energetic atmosphere. Dock10’s indoor area and terrace offer plenty of space for sports activities, team games and challenges. This is what activities can look like during seminars, conferences or workshops at Dock10:
1. outdoor team games: Organize various team games on the sun terrace or in the surrounding area, such as a scavenger hunt. This creates a pleasant change from sedentary activities and presentations.
2. sporting challenges: Plan sporting challenges such as stand-up paddling and canoeing (equipment is available). Divide the participants into teams and let them compete against each other. This encourages team spirit, a sense of competition and physical activity.
3. yoga or relaxation exercises: Include a yoga or relaxation session in the seminar program. Yoga exercises help to calm the mind, reduce stress and improve concentration. This can help participants to relax and be more receptive to the seminar.
4. simple movement breaks: Integrate regular movement breaks during the seminar in which you perform simple warm-up or stretching exercises. This helps participants to maintain their energy, stimulate circulation and refresh the mind.
5. team-building games: Conduct various team building games, such as a rope pull, a trust walk or a trust fall. These activities promote trust, communication and cooperation within the group.
6. sports workouts: Offer sports workouts such as aerobics, Zumba, Pilates or kickboxing. These activities bring movement and fun into the seminar and promote physical fitness.
7. relaxation techniques: Integrate relaxation techniques such as Tai Chi, Qigong or meditation into the seminar. These activities promote mindfulness, relaxation and the well-being of the participants.
It is important to adapt the sporting activities to the needs, interests and physical condition of the participants. So before planning and carrying out the activities, make sure that everyone’s well-being is guaranteed.
